What happen if we didn’t wear a face mask?

As we know, COVID-19 has taken a massive form. This virus has reached every part of the globe.

We can prevent this virus by following some mandatory precautions. Wearing a mask is one of the most important precautions. In United States, half of the population is in behalf of wearing a face mask, while other half of population consider masks a symbol of fear mongering, and not wearing one is a statement of personal freedom.  

It is observed that there are 17.4% chances of contracting COVID-19 if we didn’t wear a face mask, But the relief feature of wearing a face mask is that 17.4% chance of transmission can reduce to just 3.1% if we wear a face mask. So, wearing a face mask is very advantageous to escape from this virus.

A cloth is a mask which is made up of common textiles, usually cotton. During this pandemic, many countries recommended the use of cloth masks to reduce the spread of the virus.

Surgical Mask is a mask made up of fabric, which is designed to protect open wounds from germs in the droplets of mucus when someone coughs, sneezes and breathes.

  • N95 Mask
N95 Face Mask

N95 Mask is a mask made up of synthetic plastic which is best for industrial use. N95 Mask is comparatively better than cloth mask and surgical mask.

Another study tells us that if 100 particles are produced on coughing then 90 particles leak into the environment if we don’t wear a face mask. But if we wear a cloth mask then 36 particles can leak into the environment. By surgical mask, 25 particles are leaked and by N95 mask only 1 particle is leaked. Thus, masks have proved beneficial in reducing the spread of viruses.

So, a face mask can prevent you as well as others from this virus.

So, it can be concluded that wearing a face mask is an advantageous option. By wearing a face mask we can break the chain of coronavirus.
